Fuel from urine

A new catalyst able to extract hydrogen from urine was discovered. I suppose it could have applications as fuel and as a way to clean municipal waters.
An inexpensive form of electrolysis is to be used to break down urea, which contains four hydrogen atoms per molecule. A nickel based electrode will oxidize the urea, and then a voltage applied across the cell will break down the molecule.
Since the hydrogen bonds in urine are weaker than those of water, urine is a less expensive alternative to water, as well as being the most abundant waste on the planet.
