Online Researcher

  Online Researcher business.

  Business Overview

Do you spend hours every day surfing the Web? If so, why not start an Internet research service and get paid for surfing. This business opportunity was once commonly referred to as information brokering. However, with the introduction of the Internet, the name has changed, but the business remains the same, as the information that used to be researched and compiled from newspapers, trade magazines, and business and industry directories now can all be found on the Internet. In a nutshell, an Internet research service operates in two fashions. The first is the service collects data and facts relevant to just about any topic or subject known to exist. The second is where business owners and corporations enlist the services of an Internet researcher to source data and facts relevant to their particular business, industry, or market. In both cases, clients pay for information they are seeking. Billing rates for the services vary depending on how much research time is required to compile the data being sought; however, many Internet research services base billing rates on $20 to $30 per hour.
