Charge phone at the campfire

    Inspired by the troubles in Japan, I suggest creating a new cooking pot able to harness the heat from a pot of boiling water to charge a smartphone.
    Thermo-electric cookpot will use strips of thermoelectric ceramics to use the difference in temperature between the bottom of the pot and the boiling water to generate electricity.
The device could be helpful in aiding disaster victims as well as giving citizens of developing countries a way to charge their devices in areas with irregular electricity.
