Motion sensing streetlights

    I have one more idea of creating a new streetlight system in order to save money and reduce energy waste. The system will use motion sensors to dim its lights to 20 percent power when no moving vehicles or people are nearby.
    The system will reportedly cut energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 80 percent. The streetlights will use LED bulbs that will be wirelessly linked. This will allow the lights to create a 'pool of light' that will follow the pedestrians and eliminate any dark, shadowy areas. The built in communication system will also notify the central control room when any failures occur.
