Smart bandage

    A newly developed 'smart bandage' will be able to promote the development of blood vessels by guiding them to where they should grow.
    The bandage will be porous and filled with living cells positioned in channels in a precise pattern. The cells will release growth factors that will encourage vessels to grow in specific locations.
