Airbags for smartphones

    The idea is to create the world's first smartphone airbag system.
    The system will feature an integrated accelerometer that will detect if the phone is falling too quickly, triggering the tiny airbags to cushion the landing. The application will also include other ways to break the fall, such as streams of gas to slow the fall or using springs instead of airbags.
