Non-invasive forehead thermometer

    The forehead thermometer will let parents check their child's temperature from their forehead, eliminating the hassles of oral and ear thermometers.
    The forehead thermometer will be equipped with infrared technology that will allow it to measure the temperature of the skin above the head's temporal artery. To use, the thermometer will be placed on the forehead and then swept back and forth toward the temple while pressing gently on the skin. The multiple readings will then be processed by a proprietary algorithm into a single value.
    The forehead thermometer will also include a backlit, color-coded display that will give a quick fever alert.
