Why not use ultrasound to help speed the recovery of broken bones by stimulating bone regeneration through cell vibration.
The sound frequency and pulse rate of the ultrasound will be different than that used on pregnant women, but the technology will be the same. The transducer will get a coating of water based gel, and will be then slipped into a strap that will hold it on the break, stimulating cellular activity.
The ultrasound therapy is supposed to lower recovery time by more than one third.
