There are many different approaches that can be taken, in terms of starting a natural disaster photography service. The first approach is to travel the world and take pictures of the numerous natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and fires that happen annually, and use the photos to create a yearly natural disaster coffee table book. The second approach is to use digital camera equipment to take the photographs, which could then be posted on a Web site and sold to news agencies and publishers. Both approaches to this photography business require sizeable investment capital, photography skills, and excellent marketing skills. However, this is a very unique and interesting business that has the potential to generate an extremely large income, providing the business can be properly established.
