  Sailboat Rigging Service business.

  Business Overview

Each year thousands of new and used sailboats are purchased by inexperienced sailors. Starting a sailboat rigging service means that you can put your sailing skills to work. Sailboat rigging is not a difficult task for the experienced sailor. However, for the novice sailor, rigging can be a time consuming and frustrating task. A sailboat rigging service is best marketed by establishing joint ventures with marinas, boat brokers, and sailing schools. Sailing clubs can also act as referral sources for the service. Overall, this is a terrific little homebased business venture that can be operated on a full- or part-time basis, and there should be no difficulties in charging and getting $40 to $50 per hour for the rigging service.
