A newly developed technology allows users to charge their cell phones by yelling at them!
The technology works by transforming sound waves into power in a similar way that speakers transform electric signals into sound. Currently, the device consists of a sound absorbing pad that creates vibrations when hit by sound waves. The pad is connected to zinc oxide wires that compress and release, which creates a current and generates the battery.
