The idea is to create a device that will use sound to guide the wearer to slower breathing, helping to reduce blood pressure.
The device will include a sensor mounted on a strap and a small control unit with headphones. Placing the sensor on the stomach will allow it to gather data on the breathing rhythm, which will then be converted into tones. The user will be able to breathe along with the tones, which will gradually lengthen the exhalation, slowing the breath and relaxing the blood
