This idea is for a steel torsion spring powered 'ballista' (ancient roman war machine that resembles a crossbow) which fires ballbearings. It could be used for hunting and with such durable ammunition it would be more economical than bows and arrows or firearms. Also would be great fun to shoot at gongs!

My idea is to have a dual station faucet knob. On faucets that have two knobs, they could be replaced with two two station knobs. A person could prevent cross-contamination by turning the faucet on (with dirty hands) with one (probably the lower) set of knobs, wash, then turn the faucet off with the uncontaminated upper set. On faucets that have only one knob, replace it with one with two stations.

This idea is a spillproof bottle cap for young children. It replaces the existing cap on off-the-shelf beverages. The bottle with this cap in place will not release its contents unless a vacuume is present in the nossle (by sucking), so the bottle will not leak from being squeezed. A valve opens with the action of this vacuume.
