My idea is to create lamps that will alter their lighting intensity to match the natural light cycles the day and night. The individual lamps will be set to follow the rhythms of either the sun or the moon. The Night Lamp will emit a gentle bluish light that will be synced to the lunar calendar, shining brightest during the full moon. The Day Lamp will gradually increase its light as it gets darker outside, and will lower its light as the sun shines more brightly. Both lamps...

It was discovered that minced banana peels remove toxic metals from wastewater better than many of the leading chemical treatments. Banana peels are up to 20 percent more effective than other materials, and the same batch of peels can be used up to 11 times. The peels are an attractive option as a water purifier because they don't have to be modified to work, and, coupled with their low cost, could be used in places little funding for water treatment.

This crayon maker is such a great thing! It seems to be a perfect Christmas gift for a kid ;) One can easily make new crayons from old ones. Just mix in crayon bits, melt them down, pour into the crayon mold and let harden. You can even create crayons of any color you like while experimenting and mixing bits of different colors.

There could by some kind of organic spray to apply to the bandage and it would reduce the pain while its removing.

I'd like to have a device that could play back a story in the voice familiar to my baby (my, my husband's voice). I record passages or even entire bedtime stories using a voice recorder synchronized to book's pages and a child simply points to different places throughout a book to hear recordings. The book could also have pre-recorded sound effects such as a laughing baby, meowing cat, ringing phone, ticking clock, fire engine, etc.
