A website where people post their ideas to a public domain thereby taking away all future possibilities to hold a patent and more than likely make them a reality/ A website where those with resources can take great ideas from common folk and profit from them while the poor guy sulks about not seeing a dime/A website that destroys all value on intellectual property by removing all buffs.

Computer cables that light up when you touch them or press a button on them to aid in you tracing where the cable is plugged in. Also, the cables could change brightness or flash based on what type of data is passing through them, or direction of data. Remember when you played teeter-totter as a kid? That is a simple machine that you powered with your weight. We can hardness the energy created by the weight of the cars running on a highway by a series of mechanical, hydraulic, or air pressures systems. The individual device would be small enough so the drivers would not feel anything. Then they will be combined into one to run a turbine to produce electricity. Imagine if all the highways were filled with this system! They would produce...

the average coffee pot uses more energy than a space heater, especially commercial versions. there are roughly 320million personal java brewers in the U.S. alone, not including the estimated 260 million commercial versions. take that times an average of 1,500 watts each....sounds like a good start to eliminating wasted energy. with advances in science and technology, theres every oppertunity to brew a hot cup of java for less, using atleast half the energy consumed today. i...

With this technology, think of the money america alone would save on testing ... especially the accuracy to help save lives!

Add-on feature for any smart-phone to read and record wether data. From temperature, humidity, barometer, and wind speed ... to even maybe a point-and-read thermometer. Simply plug into your phone and gather more accurate data then any weather station can offer. Include a simple user-friendly app that pools all of the data into useable information for anyone to access. This could someday make weather stations obsolete with millions of readings being recorded.

I suggest supplying public lavatories with some kind of toilet paper dispenser to limit people on how much they use it. Sometimes they tend to use too much toilet paper at one time; and most of it ends up on the floor. If people had to push a button to get toilet paper then I think it would save some.

If we are able to make small hydro power generators that we can easily generate power from very small streams in our neighborhood and even from a water tank. Let the water, being pumped into the tank, flow on a fan (fixed inside the tank) which can produce electricity. Thus we can generate almost the same energy spent for pumping water into the tank. That means energy used is generated the next moment.
