You could, potentially, run anything from a car to an air plane with this. Any toy could use it and it would be environmentally safe and safe to eat. You could use it anywhere, at any time much like making beer but, with an immediate reaction. You can use baking soad and vinigar but, you don't get hours of energy from that. A very easy, inexpensive, all purpose energy source for any, possible, imaginable use, within reason.

To place devices that gain energy under pressure under paving tiles that is linked to an energy plant. Thus creating a brand new energy source proportional to the amount of shopping we do and saving the environment at the same time.

Develop a home recycler which will take all of your recyclable material and crush, grind, reduce, compact and store the material until you are ready to dispose of. I suggest the following criteria: - Items to dispose of - wood, plastic, glass, metals - Must be a system inexpensive enough for the average home - Must be easy to operate and by one person - End product must be ready to dispose of, preferably able to sell the product to local recycling establishment.

We should add several wrinkles or ridges to our cans so that we can crush them by our own hands with no chance of them being crushed incorrectly and we get perfectly flat, crushed cans every time. This saves the common can recycler time and gets rid of the frustration of having to crush them with your feet. If we run ridged dents around the can from top to bottom we can crush them by hand easily, completely flat and without effort.

Anything that has a radiator is blowing off heat and wasting energy doing so. So why not use it to heat up NaOH which will remove the oxygen from it. This leaves you with NaH which when allowed to react with water creates hydrogen. Then you can use the leftover NaOH to do the same path again. The idea of using NaOH to store hydrogen has been realised. They are called powerballs (http://www.powerball.net) but no concept of using the technology to capture all the energy we throw away...

Large windfarms generally take up a lot of land and that space on the turbine blades or the top of the generator house retrofitted with flexable solar cells could easily increase the amount of power produced without taking up any more land. Anyone else have any other ideas on increasing the renewable power production on current power installations shout it out.

Current wind turbines are EACH equipped with a generator and a gearbox. We know large generators (such as used in electricity power plants) are more efficient, would it make sense to connect an array of wind mills via driveshaft to one large generator on the ground. Advantages: 1) high(er) efficiency generator 2) use only one big generator, not many small ones 3) big generator on the ground is easy to maintain (no climbing in towers) 4) individual wind mills can be cheaper...

The government should pass a law that all new houses must be fitted with solar panels. Costs (typically $3000 or £2000) would be split by the buyer and the house builder. Benefits to the environment would be massive. Imagine whole new housing estates with solar panels on the roofs, net contributors to the country's energy supply.
