I would like to invent a toothpaste that is flavorable yet cleans your teeth. The deal is this toothpaste will turn a kids teeth brown if he/she smokes a cigarrette, turns green if he/she smokes marajuana, and turns bright yellow if he/she drinks. This would embarrass a teen so much that he/she would not think about doing any of those mentioned above again. The teen wouldn't know what made his/her teeth turn the colors and the only way to get the original color back was to brush his/her...

Many people are to put it one way "shy" when interacting with people who seem in need on the street, and in the opposite spectrum put off by the removed nature of donating to charities. I would propose a type of WebCam avatar that would allow people to interact in real time with people in need. Probably initially in the third world. I think many people if they could hide behind the mask that couldn't be torn off of a Santa Claus would be much more free with the distribution of toys or...

Introduce a system of 'survival' tokens in varying denominations which the public can purchase from high street stores, then give instead of cash to the homeless. The tokens would be exchangable for food, clothing and non-alcoholic drinks.

There is a huge number of abandoned, bereaved, or simply lonely old people in Britain. There is a similar number of abandoned and bereaved children with no one to care about what happens to them. Could these two groups not be brought together? Perhaps in the same home? It seems to be a compassionate solution for many, with the added advantage of the possibility of some shared facilities and shared care.

We are the richest nation in the world. Even in the poorest neighborhoods routinely people (and mainly women/mothers) discard clothing. This is as a result of cleaning out a closet or a child's dresser due to that child outgrowing their clothes. More often then not the lot of clothes is clean and in good repair. After all, it is coming straight from a closet or dresser. In stead of taking these things to a thrift store or shelter usually we are too busy so we just throw it away. The idea...

I once was the procurement manager of an international relief agency... we got all types of FREE items to answer needs here in USA and in 3rd world. It is easy to find companies which trash items others can use. one small letter yeilded nearly half a million dollars in used medical equipment-most of which worked just fine. Some needed repairs. I'd like a pool of timely referrals from industry and the public to form a clearing house to facilitate this exchange.

Churches are at a loss of how to help the continuing growing numbers of single parents which are increasing on a daily basis. In order to assist single parents, there needs to be education. A seminar could be conducted which would introduce the concept and explain the many needs a single parent encounters. My idea is to have a men's group and women's or youth groups of every participating church "adopt" single parents for one month. The men's group could provide house repair, car repair,...

We all have heard about some cities twinning, why not go more further, I propose families twinning. A rich one will be twinned with a poor one. I think this will help solve some inequalities and tie solidarity.

People can create a scheme where they can invest money that will be used to educate children till they are 25 years of age. After 25, these (children) should be made compulsory to return money to the scheme in installments with interest. This money will be given back to people in their old age till they die. In this way, we can educate each and every poor child in this world and let not old go hungry any more.

How about opening the big holidays for sponsorship? (After all, every event has a sponsor these days!) "Independence Day" would then be called "Microsoft Day", "Thanksgiving" could be named "Wal-Mart Holidays", and so on. The holidays would be auctioned once a year and given to the company paying most. The money from the auction could then be used for something special like buying school books, feeding the poor or building social housing.
