You can now use a bicycle to go to the place which seems to be reached only by a tractor. Downhills and parks in winter are full of cyclists who do not want to stop cycling. Some of them buy snow tires; the others use ski-bikes (special bikes with skis instead of wheels). Unfortunately, in the first case grip of wheels with snow is not so good and in the second case there are no pedals which are the main bicycle attribute. A Canadian innovation company suggested a winter kit...

New snowshoes will be designed for both walking and sliding, able to switch from snow gripping to snow skies to glide a gentle hill. The snowshoes will consist of a sliding binding with a toe crampon and hinged spike plate. While climbing, the crampon and spikes will provide grip as the binding pivots to provide a natural step. To descend short hills, the binding can be locked into place to deliver stability for turns and the spikes will swing upward to allow for sliding on snow.

I'm a soccer player. It is a real disaster for me to have a game on a sunny day as I hardly see anything and often lose the ball. My idea is to create sunglasses that are contacts so as I could look into the sun and see the ball.

Any coach or doctor will be able to diagnose a concussion confidently if the athlete's response is more than 5 seconds slower. The test will also check for eye movement,...

It would be really great to have a tool to make retrieving submerged golf balls faster and easier. The device could be made of a series of mesh discs mounted on a carbon steel axle weighted at either end. It would be pulled with a rope across the bottoms of golf course water traps. As the discs turn, the balls would be trapped between them, to be plucked out at the end of each traverse.
