The stylus creates line of varying width with transforming user applied pressure to sound transmission. The transparent tip of the stylus allows the user to see the screen beneath, and the tip is attached to a pressure sensor. Integrated electronics transform pressure on the sensor to sound, which is emitted through the stylus's speaker at a range humans cannot hear, but the device can register.

The idea is to develop a kit that will harness solar energy to power their shades. The kit will include a photovoltaic panel, harness connector, Ni-MH battery, and battery tube. The solar panel will be a foot long by an inch and a half wide, will be mounted inside the window, and will harvest enough energy to power the shades even in low-sun locations.

The tiny cam car key uses an infrared LED to create enough illumination to capture HD videos, even in the darkest corners. The tiny camera weighs under an ounce and measures only 2.5 inches on its longest side. Although it doesn't look much like a camera at all (instead resembling a remote car key), its features include motion-detecting activation, an 8 GB built in memory and audio recording capabilities.

Recently, watching a bank robbery movie I got an idea that I'm sure will be useful for improvement of all kind of safes either huge walk in banking safes or small personal safes. I would set the safe to open with two or more secret combinations where only one is the real combination which just opens the safe. Other combinations would open the safe too but along with that they would automatically trigger the alarm system. For small models we can integrate a simple wireless card which in...

The new system will be designed to react to simple voice commands, and will be able to deliver information on environmental aspects affecting allergies or monitor the blood sugar of diabetics through wireless glucose monitors. The system will also recommend alternative routes, suggest a snack, or roll up the windows in case of smog.

Its primary goal will be to provide improved situational awareness to soldiers while keeping them out of danger. The robot could also be used in the civilian sector, allowing police and firefighters to locate people within buildings. The robot will travel on caterpillar tracks while the mounted RF scanner will transmit wideband...

My idea is to create a sleeping mask which not only blocks out the light but also wakes the wearer with a programmable sunrise. Sounds really cool :) An LED substrate sewn into the inside of the mask will make the magic happen. It will begin its glow about a half hour before the user chosen waking time.

Why not develop a new lithium-ion battery able to store more energy than its predecessors without overheating? The battery will use a graphite current collector and imide salt in the electrolyte of the battery, which will increase the life of the battery as well as allowing it to withstand high temperatures. The battery will have an energy density of 225 watt hours per kilogram; 50 percent higher than the lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles.

My idea is to create an application for smartphones which will use phone's GPS and accelerometers to sense and pinpoint the location of potholes. The great challenge there will be how to teach the phone to tell the difference between a pothole and a speed bump or sewer grate.
