The glasses will display a 3D overlay of the runway and airport in one lens, including updates, markers, and traffic in the area. The integrated head tracker will adjust as the pilot moves his head and changes his gaze, automatically overlaying the appropriate info. Additional voice controls and displayed aircraft info, such as altitude...

The new application will help ease (or feed) the fears of people worried about their exposure to radiation through cell-phone use. The application will use the mobile phone's own internal mechanisms and a patent-pending technology to determine the amount of radiation output and user exposure. The system will analyze the data and send alerts when levels are high, and will offer suggestions as to how to reduce radiation exposure.

I am sure that those people, who are always losing their keys, will find this idea interesting. It would be awesome to have a fingerprint scanner right on a doorknob where a key hole was. You'd need to register your fingerprint on a microcomputer and then you would lock / unlock the door just putting your finger on the scanner.

The silicon keyboard will be water resistant, and will include a Li-ion battery, power switch, and a mini-USB charging port. LED indicators will relay the status and...

Inspired by the troubles in Japan, I suggest creating a new cooking pot able to harness the heat from a pot of boiling water to charge a smartphone. Thermo-electric cookpot will use strips of thermoelectric ceramics to use the difference in temperature between the bottom of the pot and the boiling water to generate electricity. The device could be helpful in aiding disaster victims as well as giving citizens of developing countries a way to charge their devices in areas with...

Because traditional insulin pumps are bulk and obvious, only about 30 percent of people with Type 2 diabetes choose them over daily injections. The new insulin pump will be slimmer and more elegant than traditional insulin pumps, making it easier to carry and more discreet. The pump will be about the size of a credit card and will feature a full color touchscreen display. It will be powered by a rechargeable battery and will control both fast acting and low flow dosages. It...
