Sun powered sterilizer

    The idea is to create a device which will able to concentrate sunlight to produce high powered steam for the sterilization of medical instruments. Such a device could benefit clinics in impoverished areas around the world.
    The autoclave is to be created by using a curved mirror to focus sunlight on a steel tube able to boil water and produce high pressure steam. The device will be able to reach 250 F for 30 minutes, which is the standard set by the CDC for utensil sterilization.
