Device to delay hypothermia

    The idea is to develop a new portable device to help delay the onset of hypothermia due to blood loss. The device could be of particular use to soldiers in the field.
    The device will use a portable humidifier to pump moist warm air into the patient's lungs through an oxygen mask. The warm air will be transferred to the body through the blood, which will pick up the heat while circulating through lungs.
