A special treadmill to either learn skateboard basics or enhance one's current skills: Treadmill with a rotating, flat surface and handles to grab on either side to keep one stable in the beginning. The surface could be tilted in any direction for a variety of slope experiences. The speed could be adjusted. For real beginners, you could even have grooves in the surface to help stabilize while one gets the basic feeling of riding. An advanced setting might consist of the treadmill on a higher speed, tilted forward, rider moving from side to side with hands in the air (off the rails). This would be a safe and fun way of learning a pretty challenging sport.
