Monitoring fetal health in remote areas could become easier with a portable and inexpensive wireless fetal monitor. The device will able to measure fetal heart rate and the force of contractions, and process the information with a Bluetooth transmitter and a smart phone device with custom software. The new wireless aspect will eliminate the need for the large bedside date processing machine. The device could be used to monitor pregnant women in rural locations.

The new bottle is supposed to encourage environmental awareness by allowing the user to keep track of how many plastic bottles they have saved from the landfill. The bottle features a stainless steel canister with an integrated, rubberized dial that lets the user mark off each plastic bottle saved at each refill. It also includes an iPhone app that can translate the saved plastic bottles into oil savings or allow the user to track progress collectively with friends.

Why not create a plate able to detect radiation levels in food, alerting the diner with its OLED lights? The plate will contain a built in radioactive meter to control the ring of OLED lights depending upon the amount of radiation detected in the food. No rings will mean the food has no radioactive traces, while one ring will indicate a small amount, two rings will indicate significant amounts, and a red ring will be a sign that safe radiation levels have been exceeded. The plate...

My idea is to develop a device that will keep track of every bite you take, and sound an alarm when you are nearing the danger zone of overeating. The device will be worn on the wrist and will track the wrist roll motion people use when they pick up food and put it in their mouth. It will be possible to set the device for custom bite limits for each meal or for the entire day. Calories consumed will be calculated using a formula similar to those used in exercise equipment to...

Bait: 10 percent of boric acid mixed with 90 percent of the filler. Use mashed potatoes, biscuit crumbs, cereal or egg yolk as a filler. This "delicacy" is deadly for cockroaches. Moreover, if you add the yeast you can be sure that the insects try to eat this. Trap: Put a piece of white bread soaked with beer at the bottom of a jar (cockroaches are absolutely crazy about the beer smell!!!). Tie a bandage round the neck of the jar and soak its end with beer. Put the jar on the floor...

I wanna have a fitness monitor that uses motion detection and analysis to record data and allows to keep track of the exercise averages with a smartphone. The monitor should weigh under an ounce and is meant to be clipped anywhere on the torso or carried in a pocket. The monitor will be able to identify specific body movements and keep track of how many calories are burned throughout the day.

* Exercise #1 - Pressure Applying pressure is the simplest exercise for your bust. Stand tall facing the wall, lean against it with your hands. Press against the wall as hard as you can, as if you want to move it, keep on pushing for 10 seconds. Relax, shake your hands. Do a set of 10 repetitions. * Exercise #2 - Elbows Touch Stand tall, bend your hands slightly in the elbows, keep your hands on your hips. Try to touch your elbows one to the other behind your back, do...

Wearing high heels for a long time can be a real trouble... sooner or later your feet start killing you. But you still wear these heels to look good. My idea is to create footwear with regular heels which can be easily unhooked so as to reverse your pair of shoes to cute flats.

A digital cutting board for the kitchens of the future will display recipes, automatically adjust for servings and feature a built-in scale. At its most basic, the board will be a tablet computer embedded in a cutting board. The original goal of the board will be to help users regulate portions, and its software will specifically be created to automatically adjust recipes to the number of people dining. Users will save favorite recipes and measure individual ingredients on the...

Sometimes you need to take an aspirin to stop a headache but you don't have any water or juice to do so. I suggest a chewing gum aspirin as a solution. By the way, any other medicine can be used for chewing gums as well. This seems to be a great solution for children.
