I just can't bear the view of my kid feeling such a pain while removing a bandage after one more injury. I wish there was a way to remove bandages and gypsums without pain and pulling hair. There could by some kind of organic spray to apply to the bandage and it would reduce the pain while its removing.

Wearing high heels for a long time can be a real trouble... sooner or later your feet start killing you. But you still wear these heels to look good. My idea is to create footwear with regular heels which can be easily unhooked so as to reverse your pair of shoes to cute flats.

Crutches cannot only provide physical support but mental and emotional succor. Why not create stylish crutches? Let's have them painted professionally, and cover the pads with designer fabrics. The results will definitely bring a lot of smiles and give people with fractures purposes to their lives.

The patch will deliver migraine medicine through the skin, eliminating the need to swallow medication while battling the intense nausea that often accompanies migraines. The transdermal system will be made up of a single-use, battery powered patch that will deliver the migraine-fighting drug through the skin at the push of a button. An integrated microprocessor will monitor the skin's resistance during the 4-hour dosing period, ensuring accurate delivery amounts with minimal...

I suggest a new, minimally invasive method for treating Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis. Currently, the method for treating AIS involves a long and expensive surgical procedure. In contrast, the new system will consist of a small ratchet mechanism implant attached to the center of the main spine curvature. The implant will use only two screws and the implant procedure will create a much smaller scar than current methods. After the hour-long surgery, the patient then will undergo...

Sometimes you need to take an aspirin to stop a headache but you don't have any water or juice to do so. I suggest a chewing gum aspirin as a solution. By the way, any other medicine can be used for chewing gums as well. This seems to be a great solution for children.

The idea is to develop nanogel able to help burns wounds heal faster by creating a scaffold for skin cells to grow on. The gel will be based on a self-assembling ultrashort peptide technology. When water is added to the hydrogel, the peptides will react by self-assembling into a water-holding, fibrous gel that will mimic the extracellular matrix--a key part of skin tissue. This scaffold will provide the ideal environment for skin cells to grow, enabling the gel to heal burn wounds...

The idea is to develop software that will allow trauma surgeons to virtually plan how to best approach bone fracture surgeries and osteotomies used to treat bone deformities. The software will let surgeons analyze bone fragments and virtually reassemble them in a variety of ways. Suitable implants for the specific region will be suggested automatically, and the implant information will be overlaid directly on the image.

Nanonsheet material able to cling to irregular skin could provide a more effective treatment for burn victims. The nanosheets will be made by first spinning the biodegradable polymer poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) in a test tube of water, breaking the material down into smaller pieces. This mixture will then be poured onto a flat surface, where the pieces overlap and merge to dry into a single sheet. The unique makeup of the nanosheet will allow it to tightly cover even tiny bumps and...

Seniors, and other people at risk of falls, may one day feel a bit steadier with the further evolution of vibrating insoles able to reduce falls by subtly stimulating the soles of the feet. Falls are a leading cause of injury among seniors, and are often the result of lack of balance and unsteady gaits caused by reduced sensations in the feet. Previous research has shown that stochastic resonance can mitigate some of the deficits in the sensory system by creating a sort of 'white...
