I'd like to see legislation to require all new home/apartment/townhouse/commercial developments to have a certain percentage of south facing wall or roof area. It's for solar developement but the solar equipment is not required. The market place will one day soon demand that that area be used to collect energy and people will respond.

This is an idea for reducing air pollution in cities due to automobiles. A high voltage particle collector can be placed at every cross road points, which will collect suspended air particles & collect them at bottom in bags.

We are worried about soil erosion filling our water dams with soil, leaving us with no more water in them and loss of rich soil from higher areas. So what if it is possible to build a dam or small dams near the place where soil erosion is taking place? It may stop the soil where it belongs and not fill our water dams. PS. If we can create huge wind turbines that capture the winds energy for the population then why can we not create a smaller version to attach to our homes?
