The idea is to create a dive transceiver that will allow scuba divers to communicate underwater without the need for expensive, specialized masks. The pocket-sized transceiver will use bone conduction technologies to pick up the diver's words and ultrasound to transmit those words to transceivers worn by the other divers. The sound waves will be played back as speech via the unit's bone conduction speakers and the "built-in digital speech conversion technology" will help to correct...

Designed for swimmers, the device will attach to a set of goggles to let athletes check their heartbeat without breaking stride. The device will attach to one side of the goggles, where an optical sensor will measure the heart rate from the temporal artery. The pure towel concept will dry towels where they hang, helping to save energy while combating damp, germy towels. The concept will feature a ring-shaped scanner fitted with a '360 degree UV ray' and a circular fan. The device will not only help save the energy...

Now I wonder why nobody ever came up with this one... If you have EVER been biking with a mixed group of people, you'll have noticed that it's always the same thing: the guys wait for the girls, the girls wait for the smokers, those with the coolest equipment wait for those with the... well, uncoolest equipment. The bike handicapper solves this issue by making biking a social experience again (if it ever was). You attach the handicapper to the hub, enter the handicap of the OTHER...

Every sport comes with something to hold onto in the proper way or place and you have to grip the object correctly again and again in the right place to get it right. So whether you are playing golf, baseball, or some sport with a racket you need to find the right way to hold it and you need to keep that hold in the perfect place the entire time you play while learning any sport. With velcro/sports gloves and velcro on the bat or object you are gripping, someone can place your hands in the...

Those who enjoy carving skiing might have already noticed this little problem: Carving without skiing poles can be a lot of fun, but as soon as you line up for the ski-lift, getting ahead can become really hazardous. Things are worse on an uneven surface; once your skis start following gravity, there's not much you can do against it (unless you find someone to hold on to). I am still waiting for an invention to prevent carving skis from moving when you don't want them to. Quite logically,...

One of the biggest problems in professional baseball is the number of broken bats which very often send bat pieces with sharp edges towards players, coaches and people in the stands. My simple solution is to wrap the bat with strong tape with a couple inch gap. The tape won't effect how hard the ball is hit, but if the bat breaks the pieces will be held together.

The Stroke Counter would be a belt that ties around the chest of a swimmer with two sensors on each side underneathe the armpit. The sensor then would count the number of stokes the swimmer was taking. It would count each time the shoulder would rub up against the sensor. It would work in every stroke. The benefit would be that swimmers could now see how many strokes they're taking each length. The goal would be to see how many strokes you're taking per length and then try to cut that...
