Why not create an electronic lamp which dynamically matches the color of whatever it stands on? It would be some kind of chameleon lamp :). The lamp would light the surface underneath it with two hidden white LEDs and then use an optical sensor to determine the correct color. It would match this color by adjusting the shade of numerous multi-color LEDs imbedded in its frame.

Are you a kind of person who just can't stop tapping your fingers on the furniture trying to reproduce a favorite melody? This seems to be annoying... Why not create electronic gloves which will create the music while you are tapping on the dining table for example? Each finger on the glove will be mapped to a different note with different musical instrument tones for you to choose from. There could be also a couple of distinct background rhythms and pre-recorded songs.
