Computer mice are cheap these days, and it's fairly easy to connect two or more mice to a computer. So why are there no games for multiple mice out there? I can imagine all kinds of setups: - A coordination game where you hold two mice, one in your left hand, one in your right hand. - Challenging games where each competitor controls his or her own mouse. - A collaboration game the player's movements are added up, so they need to coordinate with each other in order to not constantly...

Streaming radios of different varieties of background noise to be used in the office, home, or busines to create different moods. Rather than using CD's a much richer variety of sounds could be offered through a website. Some examples: natural sounds (beach, forest, wind in trees, rain); Urban sounds (traffic, sidewalk, restaurant, bar), Animals (birds, barnyard, wolves, insects), White noise (different frequencies), mechanical (bicycle, motor, water-wheel, fountain). Ads would be visual...

Why didn't anyone think of self-destruction/deleting email? Probably 80-90% of emails I get at work during the day are short messages to tell me something and don't require any action...You open them, register some info and either store for future reference, but most of the time you trash it..I know some mail clients (like Novell Groupwise that I'm using) can send delayed emails, so the time interaction module with server is already there. What if you had a check box on your outgoing mail...

My idea consists of a website that is like a bar. You go to the website, enter, and whamm, you see several tables, where a group of people are chatting, you also see that one girl over at another table waiting for the perfect guy to come and sit down with her. You can request songs on the jukebox, you can play pool with people or other games, maybe a card game in the back. But the point is, you can virtually set the mood in front of several people and you can also choose what...

Create desktop wallpaper for computers programmable to any time zone and which has the sun rising on one side and setting on the other. The desktop landcape could be chosen to suit the user - cityscape, beachside and so on - and the shadows made by trees, cars and buildings would create the illusion of being outdoors.

An MMPORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) for eduational use. A role playing game usually consists of doing something (hunting monsters, casting spells, etc...) in order to gain "experience points". With those "experience points", you are able to defeat bigger monsters, travel to distant places, etc... Well, how about the same thing, only, instead of killing monsters, you would have to figure out problems (quest-based). With each problem solved, you could get...

So after Stig returned from Iceland, he thought it would be kind of cool to put up one of those big maps with pins in all the places he had been (he traveled via Panama City and Osaka). Unfortunately, Stig doesn't have any free wall space. After we argued for a bit about whether he should take down his ancient Def Leppard poster, we agreed that being able to do this on a computer would save a lot of space. There are plenty of map programs, but are there any that allow you to insert...

The grassy computer keyboard is designed to make office work a bit less tedious by allowing your fingers an occasional run through the 'grass.' The keyboard features a green grass like material the covers the keyboards surface and gently stimulates the wrists and palms during typing. By using a static electricity hair transplant technique, the fibers of the grass remain upright continuously, and the invigorating texture and pleasing visual design could lead to increased work...
