A website that allows groups of people to enter into a contract to distribute payments from a single source according to a simple percentage scheme. For example, if a creative product developed by a group was sold on the web, the resulting payments would be made through this website to a common account for the product, but then distributed to the individuals in the group automatically. This is similar to Paypal, but with the automatic distribution system, it allows long-term collaborations...

It would be nice nowdays to have banks provide wireless HDD servies. (This may have already been accomplished). It's not that hard. Most of us have our prized possessions on our drives. Pictures, Movies, Documents, become our life. Some of us store, media, in the banks vault. But it's not that readily available. To have a wireless account to a banks HDD array would be great. Come in to the bank, transfer a few files to and throw, via secure wifi. And leave.

This would be a social networking site targeted at adults and professionals, generally people from ages 25 and up. It would have all of the features of Facebook such as a network system, groups, events, photos, etc., but people would also put their jobs, professional skills, or even a resume if they were looking for a job. Companies could pay to do power searches for people, but for people to join would be completely free. This website would be a mix of LinkedIn and Facebook. It's...

Provide broadband packages where the connection speed is set at, say, 1mbps. Then if a user needs to download a particularly large file they would be able - at a click - to boost their connection to 2mbps for an extra fee per minute.

An online recipes website, that allows you to search for recipes based on ingredients. Not main ingredients, like most recipe sites, but ALL ingredients. In other words, I would log onto the site, enter in what I have in the fridge and in the cupboard (store the info in a database so I don't have to add it every time), and then look for what I can cook. I would only see recipes that I would be able to make at that moment with the ingredients I allready have.

Yes, everyone knows that Harry Potter's latest is being released today, but how often have you gone to a book or record store and noticed that something new had been released by your favorite less-well-known author or artist six months ago without you notincing? It happens to Stig and me all the time: if your tastes are anything other than completely mainstream, you can't count on being informed by advertising, and you might miss a product you'd like to have. Why not create a...

No, this isn't some new spellcheck feature, but it might also be useful... If you encounter someone (some woman) in a forum such as this who seems normal one day, but bitchy the next, all you have to do is let this convenient plug-in search and filter all of that person's previous posts, and determine if there is a monthly cycle of exclamation marks, italics or profanity. If there is, you have successfully detected the relevant period, and can set the tool to ignore that user's posts...

The haptic feedback suit will put gamers in the game, letting them feel every shot, hit and explosion as it happens on-screen. The sensor-laden suit will feature three forms of sensory feedback: surround sound, vibration and STIMS (which will allow the suit to contract particular muscles). This array of sensors will enable the suit to recreate (in a less painful way) the sensations of explosions, bullets or creatures crawling on your skin.

Computer mice are cheap these days, and it's fairly easy to connect two or more mice to a computer. So why are there no games for multiple mice out there? I can imagine all kinds of setups: - A coordination game where you hold two mice, one in your left hand, one in your right hand. - Challenging games where each competitor controls his or her own mouse. - A collaboration game the player's movements are added up, so they need to coordinate with each other in order to not constantly...
