I wish we had a single web site with primary goal to help homeless people. The site would contain the full list of organizations helping such people, products and other stuff required to be donated. They could even have volunteers to come to your house and take things you wanted to donate. This would definitely make it easier for other people to contribute to charity as the majority simply didn't know where to go / what to donate / who to contact and so on.

My idea is to create sensory equipment enabling people to share hugs across cyberspace. The idea can be implemented with so-called "hug-shirt" and a teddy bear. The teddy bear will be fitted with sensors to detect when it is hugged by a person. The sensation will be transmitted to another person via a special jacket fitted with heated copper wires.

I'm fond of yoga. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to visit regular classes. I'd like to have a web site where I can define my settings (the time I can spend for a training per day, my experience, medical contraindications, etc.) and then my personal training program is generated. The price for the service should be low so as to be a good alternative to regular classes.

For those of you who like to keep the magic of Santa Claus alive and well for your children, there couldn't be anything better then photographic evidence. This http://iCaughtSanta.com site is a real finding. You upload there a photo of your living room, child's room and then choose Santa Claus to add to the picture. You can use the tools to rotate, flip, brighten and darken the photo... everything to make the picture look realistic. Just imagine how your child's face will...

The bARTer system would allow artists to exchange their art for products or services offered by individuals or businesses who are willing to barter for their goods or services. The web has faciliated many barter sites, this one would model itself on those, but limit itself to those able to offer art and those willing to accept art as barter. Trade a painting for some plumbing work. Water plants for a week and be paid with a watercolor. You need a root canal... a dentist in your area needs...

The idea to make acquaintances outside the online world, thus broadening the opportunities for users to find their ideal partners, is becoming popular among Internet entrepreneurs. New wedding website invented a new concept in this sphere. They released personal ID cards, which registered users can give to potential candidates. What is interesting is that the cards can be handed absolutely everywhere... in the streets, parks, shops, cafes, etc and not only to registered...

Been looking recently for a site that does what I want to do and am finding a few things that are close, but none that are spot-on what I think would be ideal for both artists and the business built to serve them. The closest is ArtistShare.com, but they miss the mark on a couple of fronts. First, they're expensive. Second, their model doesn't incentive the artists to generate content for the site (what I mean is, the artist gets paid the same regardless of how much material they...

Products like cigars and wine are extraordinarily complex to shop for as a consumer. The range and selection are so vast, and the subset that any given store carries is so relatively small that it can take decades before the act of shopping can become a comfortable process. This should be fixable with a web service that would allow consumers to create a profile that would allow them to record, reference, and rate their purchases and then use the aggregate data of all the users to help...

I have recently been hearing some pretty concerning things about how some popular Social Websites can use your private information. I think having a Social Responsibility Watch Group would be a great service to general Social Website consumers. I realize that there is an individual responsibility on the part of the consumer to agree with these Social Websites terms and conditions and privacy policies. But sometimes they change and we may not keep up on them like we should, we may have been...
