A new laser technique will be able to make speaker sound 'visible', making it easier to track and eliminate audio dead spots. The new laser light method will involve placing a laser to the side of the test speaker and scanning its beam through various points in front of the speaker. The beams will be reflected to a vibrometer receiver, which will then build images of the sound waves and locate the dead spots.

After you watch a film you always want to remember it in some way, but you can never retrieve the musical score from today's DVDs to remember it by. If you provide a sound track on Side B the opposite side from the movie, you could then listen to the music.

I saw an electronic keyboard that had a mic built in; the other day. It was made so you could sing along with your music. It would have been better if the mic was used to "sample sounds." This would be a great feature for synth's. You could clap your hands, bang a bottle, or tap your pen and it would be recorded. Then you could play it back in any octave.

I hate it when you are listening to head phones that go into your ear and they begin to hurt after a while. These would be head phones using "memory cell technology" (like on those beds) around the outside of the headphone so it specifically fits everybodies ear.

Ever heard a song on the radio and don't know what it's called. All the new car radios and hi fi systems should come with a LCD display capable of picking up a text signal, displaying the current song playing, or what this current segment title is, they could even have advertising, or upcoming events etc. Obviously the radio station would be in charge of what is being displayed. I believe though displaying the song title would be the most useful use, for it will increase the music...

I want to put an Audio CD into a device that sits on my bookshelf. A CD player. A CD player that could be a single unit or part of a compact Hi-Fi unit. I want the CD to play and record to a hard disk and be stored internally on the device. I want the CD title, author, artist, tracks etc to be stored on the device so I can replay the CD again later without having to put the original back in again. Sure, this is not a new idea, and MP3 players and CD recorders are available on the...

A voice modulator that you can choose to change your singing voice changed to match the singer of the song simply by having the computerized Karaoke machine (which memorized all the singer's vocal details) change the pitch, octave, vibrato, etc. Basically a synthesizer that creates the closest match to the actual singer's sound within a certain chosen song. You could even be a man and sing and sound like Madonna! Ha! Not hard to change your sound digitally, but the memory the computer...

the translater idea are for most people that travel the world. first of all: did you ever try putting an english dvd and playing with the subtitles, it will translate any foreign languge to english or vice versa . so my idea is that we can acually create a device that would not only translate but somehow, when you speak, into that devise no mater what langauge. all you have to do is set the device to what ever languge you wold want to translate.
