Checking the air pressure in your tires could soon be a thing of the past with the self-inflating tires, which use the forces of the rolling tire to maintain the ideal pressure. The tires take advantage of the technology, which includes a rubber tube embedded in the wall of tire that is squeezed shut as the tire rolls along the pavement. An internal regulator senses when the air pressure drops below a certain level, opening a valve to allow the outside air to enter the rolling tire...

The ventilation filter is not new, it is in most luxury vehicles. My idea is to make a add-on for all vehicles that ethers fits the air intake in front of the vehicle or goes on the vents in the vehicle. If it were manufactured to go in front or under the windshield air intake it would have a charcoal filter that cleans the air and can be injected remotely from inside the vehicle by the user with any fragrant, like roses or a vanilla scent. What ever the driver want to smell, instead of...

So your battery died and no one is around to help you jump start your car? How about a generator you crank for 10 minutes of power? You might be cranking the thing for 5 minutes at like 30 Revolutions per minute, but hey, it beats being stuck on the side of the road with no a/c or heat.

Getting in or out of a tight parking spot could sometimes be very trying, especially for older people and inexperienced drivers. My idea would be to have a set of 4 telescopic arms fitted with electrically driven wheels. This way one only has to pull up, paralell to the parking place activate the parking device which is controlled via a joystick inside the car and guide the car into the parking spot sideways. This same device may also be used as a car jack for a tire change just switch to...

Since a high performance turbocharger reduces engine lifetime, I had this idea. The turbocharger turbine would be connected to a reductor instead of an air pump and then it would push an alternator. So, all parts that are normally connected directly to the engine, like oil pump, water pump, air conditioner compressor, power steering pump, would be pushed by electrical motors. The engine would get free from all that stuff without being damaged, and all the energy wasted in exhaust flow...

This has been discussed many places but I think it would be great if the government would install chips or magnetic strips in the lines in the roads and require "black box" type computers in vehicles that could not be tampered with so that if a person runs a red light or stop sign, the computer records it. If a person speeds consistently for a period of time, it records it. Of course, the same will be true if a person gets into an accident, etc. The computer could run off the car's battery...

Large or small boats can carry air bags that inflate which can prevent a boat from sinking. A good desig of such air bags and smart placing of them (which can not be seen on deck) can result in balancing the boat and giving enough time for the crew to unload any water.

Build a world war I type zeppelin with inner airbags, call "bladders", fill with helium (not hydrogen). Have the outer airbag made with a flexable "solar-panel" cloth, electronic wirer to in-ship storage batteries. Have these batteries run VTOL propeller engine (simulated to MV-22 "Osprey"), to propel and steer the zeppelin. Underneath the belly of the zeppelin have the cramping system.

How about a device that could take control of a airliner like a heat seeking or guided missile. In the event of a hijacking military jets could be deployed taking control of the jet and forcing it to land safely, brake and shut down.

Elevators (lifts in England) are expensive to install and require top room for the lifting gear. Would it not be possible to build elevators on Archimedes Screw principles - a rotating shaft moving small, single person platforms? No cables or wires to break. Can be used for two storey building.
