The idea is to create a new LED bulb able to be controlled by any Android device. It will set the precedent for a new generation of energy efficient home systems. The bulb will include a built in radio to interface with Google's open source wireless protocol. Besides the bulbs, the protocol will also be used to control thermostats and appliances, leading to a new type of self-adjusting systems.

The newly improved radiator booster will increase the efficiency of wall mounted radiators, directing the heat back out into the room. The booster will be designed to turn on when the radiator reaches a temperature over 86F, and it will cost under a dollar a year to run. Since it will distribute the heat out into the room, the radiator booster should help to encourage lower thermostat settings.

It would be really great to have sound filters for windows. They could work much like the mosquito nets. In case you fastened such a filter on the outside of your window it'd keep out all the street noise, but would let in the fresh air.

Technologies are constantly developing and becoming cheaper. They make our life more comfortable and joyful. A virtual window in a wall is a great example of such development. It can display any dynamic pictures you like: from the magnificent scenery to the life in the deep sea or the view from the orbital station window. It seems to be a great idea to combine furniture with exercise equipment. For getting a quick workout while you're at home such Fitness Furniture makes the most sense, allowing you to have functional home fixtures that you can also use to work up a sweat. Three items come with the Fitness Furniture set - a multi-function closet, a table that can double as equipment for dips and an attractive mat for performing floor exercises. Most notable of the objects is the storage...

My idea is to use piezoelectricity to generate energy. Piezoelectricity is the charge that accumulates in response to applied mechanical strain, such as the vibrations of vehicles driving on roads. The piezoelectric sensors are inexpensive and can be installed during regular repaving. When utilized on a single lane, two mile stretch of road, the sensors could produce up to 44 megawatts of electricity each year, which is enough to power 30,800 homes for a year.

The paper thin, mercury free OLED lights will be the most energy efficient kitchen lights. It is difficult to perfect white lights that are powerful enough to be suitable for kitchen use, but the OLED lights are supposed to be as bright as the typical compact fluorescent. They will also be incredibly thin and have a life span of more than 12,000 hours. The system efficiency of 71 lumens per watt will be greater than the standard requirement for undercabinet lighting, and the lights...

The idea is to create a USB charging device that will flip open to draw power from electrical outlets already fully occupied. The device will open to extend a flat conductive "power tab", which will work via its two holes. The prongs of one of the plugs that will be occupying the outlet will be run through the holes and then plugged back into the outlet. The power tab will draw enough energy to charge a mobile device, sending 1 amp through the USB cable. A flat "power tab"...

If you are tired of the same old boring wallpaper designs on your wall then you'll find my idea interesting. I suggest creating digital wallpaper. There would be digital paper or some kind of very thin screen on your wall. A small computer box would also be on the wall. You would be able to download any image you wanted to see on your walls. In such a way you could change wallpaper every day.
