The handheld printer will use a combination of inkjets, optics, and software to print images onto any flat surface. The printer will use laser sensors to track the device's movement, measuring its location and speed. The software will interpret the sensors' data and use algorithms to determine which spurt of ink to send next as the user waves the printer over the material. This will allow the printer to print on any size material, even material larger than the printer itself.

Why not provide our mobile phones with ECG machine capability of clinical-quality readings? Such a cell phone should have a pair of electrodes to send ECG readings via Bluetooth. The device could be held in the hands to take pulse readings, or could be placed on the user's chest.
