Add all the features of Tivo to XM Radio for recording digitally, play back, pause, etc. You would never miss any specific music or radio show like "Rush Limbaugh" or "Howard Stern". Never worry about times of any radio again. Even preset it to record in the future every day the same shows or news or musical artists.

It would be like a tiny nanoalarm disguised as a button or belt buckle on a woman's pants and if forcfully pulled out or torn or misplaced a silent alarm will be activated and police will be alerted, also a set of earrings or hair clip that will act as a tracking device if you press a tiny button on it, so then the police will be able to find you. Women could wear them everytime they go out at night alone or to a bar or something.

Have you ever been barbecuing or travelling with you bike or done some other outdoor activity, and you looked at the overcast sky worrying when exactly it was gonna start raining? Well, when the rain finally hits you, it has already been falling for some time (a minute or possibly more). So I'm wondering if it's possible to create a cheap device that'll detect the exact moment the rain starts falling and warn you. A minute advance notice can be extremely valuable - you can evacuate...

Microphones that look like everything from expensive professional golf club driver heads to Disney characters. Anything that might peak the interest of a mic user in karaoke in public or whereever a mic might be used. There are some rock bands like "Korn" and "Manson" that have unique mics but they are stage props and are made to be used solely on stage. They are also basically holders for a normal mic.

I read about people complaining about neighbours that take music to a high level, or car that passes at night and disturbs the neighborhood with its boom boom woofers. There is a way to handle this problem and it's in using the new technologies provided. By linking every sound system in a city by a gprs connection, volume off sound sytems can be controlled and a law can prevent users of sound systems of increasing the volume so the volume can be locked to a certain max at night, and...

Every year I inevitably lose or have my cell phone stolen, and it drives me crazy to lose all the numbers and contact info I have stored. Now I realize that there are devices capable of linking with computers and saving info, but how often do people really do this. I propose to make the cell phone charger actually contain an additional SIM card to record your contacts everytime you charge up. This way one has a recent record of one's phone numbers, that requires no tech savy and no effort...

An alarm clock that has a snooze-proof alarm feature. In other words, an alarm that prevents the consumer from constantly hitting the snooze while half asleep. (I have, at times, hit the snooze every 4 minutes for 2 hours before I eventually got up!). The Snooze Proof Alarm would be able to act like a normal alarm clock w/ snooze, but also have snooze proof alarm features. One aspect of the snooze proof alarm would be the ability to make the snooze button inactive. But, to prevent people...

This idea comes directly from a need that I have. I often want to get up early, before my roomates do, but any "normal" alarm would wake them up as well. I looked for vibrating wristwatches, but for some reason they say it's not for waking people up. (Maybe people would hurt themselves if they rolled onto it.) And it's also hard to make vibrators that small that also has the needed electronics. So, my idea is some variation of a vibrating alarm, for those people who don't want to wake up...
