After having observed the health of several thousand American women for 13 years, the members of the Pittsburgh University have found a connection between marital status of research participants and the state of their cardiovascular system. Successfully married women suffer from hypertension and coronary heart disease half as many times as their single peers. They also do not have depressions and get through stress easily. There is less cholesterol in the blood of women who are satisfied with family life. Even their weight is smaller!
