My idea is to create a wireless keyboard that can be rolled up and packed away, providing tablet users the convenience and comfort of a keyboard. The keyboard will use Bluetooth technology to link with a tablet or mobile device from up to 30 feet away and, once paired with the device, won't need to be re-paired. The silicon keyboard will be water resistant, and will include a Li-ion battery, power switch, and a mini-USB charging port. LED indicators will relay the status and...

We've got smart phones, but what about smart credit cards that, like wallet-sized Lilliputians, tie you down when you're about to spend too much? If in your travels, you find yourself overspending on certain things - in my case, Starbucks iced coffee - this new money management tool could be useful. Through a service called inControl, you can tell your bank to decline your credit card at restaurants after, say, $300 in lunches in a month. Ron Lieber of the New York Times reports that...

I've just came across the idea of creating a laptop computer that can be rolled into a cylindrical shape The concept consists of a flat panel display wrapped around a central cylindrical column. A power plug detaches from the top of the column, the power cord also acts as the carry strap, and the speakers and USB ports are stored inside the column. Once rolled out flat, the device can be used as a 17 inch tablet computer or can be tilted into a notebook shape, with the lower half...

Did you hear about a new keyboard able to vary its position automatically, reducing the chances of repetitive stress injuries? A small motor inside the keyboard constantly changes its typing angle by altering the separation and the tilt of both sides slightly every 2500 keystrokes. The user can alter the frequency of the changes as well.

My idea is to create sensory equipment enabling people to share hugs across cyberspace. The idea can be implemented with so-called "hug-shirt" and a teddy bear. The teddy bear will be fitted with sensors to detect when it is hugged by a person. The sensation will be transmitted to another person via a special jacket fitted with heated copper wires.

Robot controlled by Americas Army 3 Game Software (AA3) that can be deployed anywhere in the world. The master of each robot is a real soldier controlling his robot far away from him while he's inside his office. To avoid ROE, this robot will have identification using MAC address bar coded on top of his head, on his back, on his left and right shoulder and on his right chest. This robot is equipped with assigned weapon (e.g. M16 M4 rifle, 50 Cal, Body armor, GPS, etc...). Here's how:...

Why not create software to scan videos of crime scenes and identify frequently reoccurring faces? This will help with the identification of individuals who may know something about the crime. The software will work from any video stream, including cell phone video. It could also be used to count the number of times an individual shows in a particular location, and mark that person as a possible person of interest if they appear more than a certain number of times.

I wish we had a single web site with primary goal to help homeless people. The site would contain the full list of organizations helping such people, products and other stuff required to be donated. They could even have volunteers to come to your house and take things you wanted to donate. This would definitely make it easier for other people to contribute to charity as the majority simply didn't know where to go / what to donate / who to contact and so on.

For those of you who like to keep the magic of Santa Claus alive and well for your children, there couldn't be anything better then photographic evidence. This http://iCaughtSanta.com site is a real finding. You upload there a photo of your living room, child's room and then choose Santa Claus to add to the picture. You can use the tools to rotate, flip, brighten and darken the photo... everything to make the picture look realistic. Just imagine how your child's face will...

Online shopping is based on trust. A buyer should believe that a real picture of a commodity is displayed in the Internet, all disadvantages are enumerated and the price isn't overstated. This idea with people to help you to make sure that everything is OK with the stuff you are going to purchase is really awesome. Just imagine: you are going to buy a car / boat / real estate but you are lazy to go to the other end of the country and examine the possible purchase; then you find a...
